Organic Garden Maintenance

organic gardener mallorca

There is no plot of land or finca in Mallorca too big or too small for me to design, manage and maintain or convert to organic by the way I described on my landing page and as also described below to the standard one would expect. On implementing my maintenance system, all areas must be meticulously cleared of all non-organic waste. All areas will be selectively weeded in correlation with the natural cycle of that particular species which may be occurring in abnormally high numbers or are negatively competing with planted crops. Your finca Will be maintained to a high standard over the long term but everything but all species arriving naturally and/or germinating in the top layer could only be controlled from the second summer on sometimes even by introducing new species. Because the earth layer or skin of Gaya may only be broken in order to establish new plants or for  planting potatoes, which really perform better when planted after a good forking over during which the earth is well turned over although never ever fast moving Blades will be employed again. New arrivals and other wild flowering species like Poppies, Flaxseed, Hypericum and Margarieds will be encouraged to flower and re-seed. Vigorous thornbaring creeping plants such as Wild Black Berries (zarzamora) are to be kept in check! Thorn bearing wooden off cuts best will be dried-stored for burning, so that your finca over time may also become barefoot accessible.

Produce and storing of alternative materials for your wood burning stove are important considerations. You will notice an increase in biodiversity and liveliness and good health of your ornamental and fruit bearing trees. Tidiness, organisation, noticeable improvement in all disireble aspects and un uprise in production after the observation and apreciation stage of my specific system has been completed.

Because the system is completely new a and not very conventional, a clear channel for communication and feedback with new customers, explanation and agreement on various system implementing actions or non-actions needed is key.

Enjoying the expansion of a microclimate of even more colour, variety and abundance of wildlife within which we may even introduce newcomers to Mallorca such as Papayas, Mangoes and Avocados!I am looking to establish good long term professional relationship on the firm middle ground with my customers, working partners, suppliers and business partners.

When selecting plants for landscaping or garden projects, I love to include xerophytes which are very drought resistant and to splash out  with even more wild flowers trained to the seasons here in Mallorca and more importantly, always more than enough edible delicacies to fill your salad bowl with Pure Organic Produce freshly picked for your culinary delight all year long. Looking forward to meeting you!
